Advaya’12, a national level management fest is being organized by MBA dept, VJIT on 6th Jan 2012, creating an opportunity for eminent management professionals from academics to collide and collaborate to share information. This platform enables management students to interact and exhibit their talents, competency, innovative nature, leadership qualities and communication skills in various events. This occasion will enrich their personality to pave way for their holistic development as management professionals.

EVENTS OF ADVAYA’12:

FORMAL EVENTS:

Paper presentation (knowledge lay out)
Exhibit your knowledge in finance, human resources and marketing fields on the given  topics (will be announced later).

Business quiz (Knock your brain): 2 members in a team
Students in a team can participate to test their knowledge in socio-economic, stock market and business related areas.

One minute manager (Boss of the bosses):
This event will test the knowledge, leadership qualities, initiativeness, communication skills and problem solving skills. It consists of three levels.

1. Written test, 2. Group discussion, 3. Case study

Ad making: max. 4 members in a team
A platform to show student’s competitive spirit in designing ads in an innovative  manner on team basis.

INFORMAL EVENTS:

Photo buzz – Click the most promising moment and grab the prize.

Build your nest – Ignite your spontaneity.

Short film making – Capture and convey.

Skit – Fun oriented

Guidelines:

  • ADVAYA consists of formal and informal events.
  • Each participant can take part in more than one event.
  • Any number of individual participants and teams can represent a college.
  • Registration fee for each delegate is Rs. 100/- for all the events except ad making i.e., Rs. 200/-
  • Registration fee for informal events is Rs. 50/- except for Build your nest which is Rs. 100/-
  • Students who take part in paper presentation event can send their abstract soft copy in about 150 words on a selected topic mentioned above to “vjitmba11@gmail.com” by 31st December, 2011.
  • Filled up registration form can be sent to the organizing committee on or before 4th January, 2012 along with registration fee in cash or D.D in favor of “Principal, VJIT, Aziz nagar”.
  • Spot registrations will also be permitted on 6th Jan, 2012 between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM in the college.
  • Participants should carry their student identification cards (ID).
  • Cash prizes, merit certificates, medals will be awarded to winners and runners.
  • Participation certificates will be given to all other participants.
  • Accommodation facility is available for outstation participants only with prior registration.

9:00 AM to 10:00 AM – Spot registration

10:00 AM to 11:00 AM – Inauguration

11:00 AM to 11:15 AM – Tea break

11:15 AM onwards – Event starts

01:00 PM to 01:30 PM – Lunch

01:30 PM to 03:00 PM – Event continues

03:00 PM to 03:50 PM – Valedictory function.
