The Second Graduation Day at VJIT was marked with great festivity, gaiety and happiness. Happy faces in graduation gowns and hats were seen all over the campus.

The graduates arrived early to meet their friends and teachers. They could converse over lunch before they assembled for the Graduation Ceremony.

The Graduation Ceremony started at 2 p.m. The Chief Guest was Dr. E. Saibaba Reddy, Rector, JNTUH. Sri V. Purushottam Reddy, Secretary, VDJM, Dr. P. Rajeshwar Reddy, Correspondent, VJIT, Dr. P. Venu Gopal Reddy, Director, VJIT, Dr. A. Padmaja, Principal, VJIT , all the Heads of the Departments and the Chief Guest, Dr. E. Saibaba Reddy had also donned the Graduation Gowns.

The Chief Guest, Dr. E. Sai Baba Reddy talked about the importance of learning the basics thoroughly and enhancing ones knowledge for making oneself employable. He stressed on the importance of hardwork for success. Sri V. Purushottam Reddy, Secretary, VJIT asked the students to cherish this moment as it is the culmination of their 4 yrs of study. He asked them to consider this to be the first step of their wonderful career ahead. P. Rajeshwar Reddy, Correspondent, VJIT while addressing the students spoke about the importance of intrinsic motivation for students to succeed in life and urged them not to forget their parents and motherland in their quest for success and prosperity. Dr. A. Padmaja, Principal welcomed one and all to the graduation ceremony and talked about the evolution of these ceremonies in India.

Awards and medals for Academic Excellence were presented to College and Branch Toppers. Their hard work paid off. Certificates were presented to all the graduates. Special awards in different categories for extracurricular activities were also presented. The students were eager to click photographs with their graduation gowns and so Graduation Ceremony concluded with Photo Session in the lush green lawns of VJIT.
