  • Campus Recruitment Training at VJIT via Talent Sprint has been started.  CRT classes have been introduced from second semester onwards so that our students get prepared for Campus Interviews by the time they are in the final year.
  • For second year students English and Aptitude classes are being conducted. For third year Technical and for Fourth year students overall CRT and other assessments like amcat and Mock interviews are being conducted.
  • 100% attendance is now mandatory for CRT classes so that our students don’t miss any part of it.
  • IOT (Internet of Things) seminar was conducted by Makers Space via TASK and we are also under process to have its workshop conducted at our campus.
  • IBM and Maintech drives were conducted at our campus out of which 5 for IBM and 14 for Maintech were selected.
  • 20 students were selected for Amazon on campus drive.
  • TASK conducted off campus pool drive for Cognizant, 4 of our students got selected.
  • Mphasis and Genpact drive was conducted at Anurag group of Institutions.
  • Off campus drive for Vistex was conducted at MGIT for which our students are waiting for result.
  • Two of our students are waiting for results for FMC.
  • Mphasis conducted a Pool Campus drive for VJIT students at CVSR College 8 Students from VJIT got selected in the drive. 10 more students are waiting for the last round of Interview on 12th November 2014.
  • Amazon conducted a Placement drive 2nd November 2014 at CVSR College for its TRMS division 31 Students from VJIT was able to secure a Job in Amazon.
  • Genpact Placement drive was conducted in VJIT Campus on 23rd October for all final year Students except Mechanical Engineering students. 23 Students from VJIT got selected in the drive.
  • Celigo, a leading software company organized a Placement drive in VJIT on 17th October 2014. The results of the test are yet tobe declared
  • Kony Placement Drive was conducted on 14th October 2014 for female students of final year Engineering the venue were VJIT. Four Students from CSE& IT got selected in the Drive.
  • Port ware conducted a Pool recruitment drive on 9th October for 2014 batch students in VJIT. Four students from our College have been short listed for the final round.
  • Talent Sprint conducted on 21st September 2014 a Pre Assessment test for all final year students.
  • Brigadier Ganiesham of Palle Srujana conducted a work shop for second year students on 4th September 2014 on Rural Innovation the talk was very well received by student.
  • Mr. Raj Das Gupta of Oracle Corporation conducted a seminar for 3rd and 4th year students on Industry Certification on 23rd August 2014.
  • Mr.Shanker Muralidharan of Woixen Business School Conducted a work shop for Final year Students on Entrepreneur ship development on 13th July 2014.
  • Mr. Abdullah, Former Executive Director, Power Finance Corporation and Motivational Speaker facilitated a workshop cum interactive session on ‘Developing the ecosystem for academic excellence’ on 14th January 2014.
  • Manhattan Review, a leading provider of training for CAT/GRE/GATE conducted a workshop on ‘Opportunities for education through the GRE route ‘on the 7th of January.2014 The talk was anchored by Mr. Vijay, Zonal Head, and Manhattan Review.
  • Zippr, a start up firm in the technology space conducted an internship drive in the college on the 4th of January, 2014. The theme of the talk was ‘The changing Technology Landscape’.
  • Jyothsna senior manager Learning and Development Manager, Cognizant Technologies gave a presentation on Developing an Innovation mind set for all third year students on 24th February 2014.
  • Talent Sprint conducted a comprehensive industry talk on ‘where is the engineering profession heading: The challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. The talk was anchored by Mr. Ahmed, Head- South Operation- Talent Sprint December 16th December 2013.
  • One day Seminar on “What does it take to crack the job market” by Naresh Dubudu of Abhyas Corporation on 11th November 2013.
  • Talent Sprint, leading CRT agencies had been given the mandate to do end-to- end training for the final year students in order to help them prepare better for the upcoming campus placement drive on 10th September 2013.
  • Dr. George Rancourt, Former Managing Director, Monster interacted with the students and also organized a half workshop on ‘Developing a global mindset’ on 14th August 2013.
  • A highly select group of students from VJIT had participated in the Microsoft Area Communication Contest, a renowned communication skills competition. The students had the opportunity to visit the campus and interact with the senior management of Microsoft on 12th August 2013
  • R. Sundaram, Campus Recruitment Lead visited the college for an interactive session with the 3rd year and final year students and spoke on’ Moving ahead of the curve: why industry –academia connect matters” on 8th August 2013.

  • Mr. Sunder Raman of Infosys gave a pre-placement talk on Infosys Prospects on 25th January, 2013.
  • Co-cubes and VJIT T&P Office Conducted Awareness Drive on Prospects for Engineering Students in the Post Recession Economy” on 21st November 2012.
  • Mr. Prem Dayal, Lead Manager – Education & Research – conducted a one day workshop on ‘Foster professional communication skills’ August 10th, 2012.
  • A select group of students from the IT & CSE department were invited by Infosys Development Centre for a session by Infosys Toastmaster s Club; the session was facilitated by the training and placement Office on 16th July 2012.
  • One week training for students by Mr. Niranjan and Mr. Gangadhar of Career Conduit in the areas of Aptitude and Reasoning and Soft Skills/Communication Skills from 16th January 2011 – 22nd January, 2012.
  • IBM Campus Recruitment Drive was conducted in our campus by JKC on 19th March 2011.Through JKC, our students were selected by IBMMr. Karthikeyan, Sr.HR Manager, Mphasis spoke on “The Latest Trends in the IT Industry”.
  • Career Guidance Sessions were conducted for students of MBA on 5th March, 2011.
  • Campus Drive was conducted for VJIT students by CMC on 19th February, 2011.
  • Campus Drive was specifically conducted for Mechanical Students by Vijaya Industries on 15th February, 2011.
  • In-house JKC Training Classes for a week by JKC Mentors from 5th January 2011 and 11th January 2011.
  • Off Campus Recruitment Drive at CVSR College of Engineering, (Our sister concern college) for Birla Soft on 22nd December 2010. Nineteen Students from VJIT got placed.
  • A Comprehensive Training Programme for the Entire Batch of Engineering Students was conducted with specific focus on Infosys Recruitment Programme by Mr. Praveen of Time on 19th December, 2010.
  • Faculty Enablement Programme by Globarina in Association with IEG. The TPO and ATPO were trained in Communication and Soft Skills for one week in the month of September 20, 2010.

Campus Placements:

After successful completion of these two activities students attend Campus Placement Drives by various major companies.

80% of the eligible and interested candidate placed in some of the best companies with good pay scale the number of during the academic year 2010-1l.
