Club activities nurture managerial skills and support for the holistic development of students. With this main objective department of MBA, Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology (An Autonomous Institution) on 27-10-2018 has inaugurated prestigiously 3 clubs viz; Dalal street- Finance club, The Mercado – Marketing club, Synergy- HR club. The logos of the club were inaugurated by DR.P.Venu Gopal Reddy, Director VJIT, Dr. A. Padmaja, Principal VJIT, Smt. Srilatha, Academic Coordinator, VJIT & Dr. P. Chakradhar, HOD, MBA, VJIT.
Dr.P. Chakradhar, Head of the department outline the series of activities that are designed to conduct under these clubs. Finance club coordinator Ms. G. Rajitha, Asst. Prof, MBA, marketing club coordinator Mr. K. Jeevan Kumar, Asst. Prof, MBA, HR club coordinator Mrs. K. Kavitha Asst. Prof, MBA presented the objectives of all the clubs. All the dignitaries congratulated the department for taking a wonderful initiative and wished students to utilize the platform in an optimal way.
Under the aegis of HR Club on the same day a workshop was conducted on “Dynamics of HR policies-A current scenario”. Mr. K. V. R. Satya Kumar, Asst Prof, has introduced guest speaker of the day Mr. V. Sudhir Kumar, HR Manager L&T Metro, Hyd to the audience. The speaker has given detailed explanation in case study form on HR philosophies, processes, practices, programs in L&T and emphasized the key influencing factors like code of conduct, value systems in linking HRM & firm’s performance with respect to HR policies. Vote of thanks was proposed by P.Suneela Bharathi, Assoc Prof, MBA, VJIT and the entire program has received a great round of applause from students.
