VJIT’s library is one of the best and is created aesthetically and ergonomically with a capacity of 300. The library has more than 22000 volumes. The journal section receives more than 250 International & National Journals and has access to scores of e- journals. The Digital library has an access to online journals, e-books, NPTEL material and hundreds of subject related CD’s and DVD’s. Facilities like Xerox, Quick Mail Search, and career guidance material are also in place. The entire library is automated for smooth and quick transactions.

Faculty that inspires
VJIT’s faculty is one of the best in terms of academic accomplishments and teaching experience. We have a full spectrum of experienced to young talent bubbling with zeal, enthusiasm and passion for teaching. VJIT faculty is led by the best brains in the field.
Dr. P. Venugopal Reddy is the Principal of VJIT. He is an accomplished academician, researcher & educationist. He has held various important positions, including Professor of Physics at OU & visiting Professor at University of Maryland at Baltimore County and also at the University of Technology, Mara, Kualalumpur, Malaysia 16 students have received Ph.D. degree under his guidance & 5 more are currently reaching for their Ph.D. Dr Reddy holds 3 Patents & ha published 140 technical papers & a laboratory manual for students of M.Sc. He has attended numerous conferences on specialized areas in Physics both In India & abroad.
Prof. G. Radhakrishna did his B.E. (E.C.E) and M. E. (Micro Waves) from Osmania University. He has worked in HAL and Defense Electronic Research Laboratories. After 30 years of R&D and industrial experience he branch out into academics and has 10 years of experience in teaching at reputed institutions like Andhra University.
Prof. S. M. Zafarullah did his BE (Elec), M. Tech (Engy. mgt) & M.I.E.(I). He has professional qualifications in C. Engg, MISTE, MIl Chem. E, MIAEGTD (Afro Asia), FIIPE. He has 19 of years experience in Industry in the Fields of Generation, Distribution & Transmission (12 years in R & D and 7 years in academics).
Dr. L. lakshminarayana did his B.E (Mech), M.E (Heat power Engg.) from REC, Warangal and Ph.D (Heat transfer, Mech) from lIT, Kanpur. His career in academics spans more than 35 years. He has worked with prestigious institutions like IISc., BITS Pilani, BHEL (R&D) and was the Principal of an Engineering Colleges before joining VJIT.
STEP THREE
NBA Accreditation
VJIT is in the process of accreditation by NBA of AICTE for B. Tech. courses in CSE, ECE & EEE, IT & MECH. The accreditation team has appreciated the world class infrastructure and support systems. The accreditation is expected to be completed by July 2011.
Two of the Anurag Group Colleges have already been accredited and have been the youngest colleges to achieve NBA accredltatl0rt.
STEP FOUR
Projects
VJIT is known for its Live Projects. Students over the years have executed very innovative projects. Their live projects have been appreciated by the best in the field.

In 2011, a project on Solar Fencing was taken up and it was inaugurated on the annual Day of VJIT- PHOENIX 2011. It was appreciated by eminent guests, Dr. Chukka Ramaiah, Academician, Dr. D.N. Reddy, Vice Chancellor, JNTU.
STEP FIVE
Placements
VJIT Training & Placement Division and Finishing School put all its thrust on three key activities.
I) Student Profile Management: The student data is systematically organized by the placement team with the support of JKC, Co Cubs & Aspiring Minds Companies. The team organizes the data and forward it to select blue chip companies. The Companies take up the assessment and offer feedback for improvement.
II) Training: At VJIT, training is a regular process and an internal training team is at work in the college. Students are trained in Aptitude, Reasoning, Written & Spoken English and Communication Skills.
- In House Training: VJIT faculty trains students from I year onwards. A rigorous training is imparted to students from III year II semester through special hours incorporated in the Academic Plan. An internal training team from JKC also works to prepare students for placements.
- Training by External Agencies: VJIT is also providing its students training from External Agencies by inviting experts from like professional organization Career Conduit.
- Training through MOUs: The College has crucial MOU with Oracle, Wipro (Mission 10X), lEG (JKC) etc. Students are trained by the faculty from these top companies in Technical & Soft Skills. As part of MOU’s students visit the companies under an Industrial Tours scheme.
III) Campus Placements: After successful completion of these two activities students attend Campus Placement Drives by various major companies.
80% of the eligible and interested candidate placed in some of the best companies with good pay scales during the academic year 2010-11.

Microsoft Innovation Centre: Anurag Group is one of the four professional centres in India and the second in A.P. chosen by Microsoft for establishment of I-Spark Innovation Centers. This immensely helps students at VJIT to have a unique access to the world leaders faculty and software.
STEP SEVEN
Support from Alumni: The Alumni of VJIT meets every year in the college premises at the popular ‘Alumni Meet’. They enthusiastically support the present students by offering advice on sharpening the skills and work opportunities. They also provide broad new inputs to the mangement.
STEP EIGHT
Vibrant Academic Environment: The College conducts various programmes in addition to regular class works. A vibrant academic atmosphere prevails on the campus round the year.
- Departmental Activities: Every school has its own Departmental Associations through which regular Seminars, Guest lectures and Additional Academic Activities are organized.
- Activities of Professional Bodies: The College has ISTE, CSI, IEEE and Professional Body Chapters, which conduct their activities regularly.
- Tech Fest: VJIT conducts a National Tech Fest every year involving thousands of students from various colleges.
- Annual Day Celebrations (PHOENIX): The College organizes various competitions in sorts, games, literary, cultural, co-curricular activities which culminate in the Annual Day Celebrations, well known Academicians, Industry leaders and Celebrities are invited on the occasion.
- FDP Programmes: The College organizes Faculty Development Programmes for the Teaching Staff every year and also allows Faculty to participate in such programmes organized by universities and other colleges.
- Seminars / Workshops: Organizing Seminars / Workshops by individual departments regularly has now become tradition at VJIT.

More than 95% of the students admitted in the first year are successfully passing out in the final year.
