The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology (VJIT) has organized International Conference on “Computational Intelligence and Data Engineering (ICCIDE)- 2019 during 4th – 6th , July 2019. The Conference highlighted on Empowering the knowledge in Applications of Artificial Intelligence. The Keynote speakers were Dr.Deepak Garg, Bennett University, Noida, Dr. Uma Shanker Subramaniam , Prince Sultan University Saudi Arabia, Dr. C Krishna Mohan, Professor IITH, Dr. Raghu Reddy Assoc. Prof. IITH, Ripul Ranjan Mishra Sr. Technology Architect, Infosys .The Chief Guest- Dr.Krishna Vedula, Founder & Executive Director, IUCEE. Guest of Honors – Dr. Deepak Gar , Research Dean , Bennet University and Dr.Uma Shankhar , Professor , Princeton University Patron- Dr. P. Venu Gopal Reddy, Director, VJIT, Patron-Dr.A.Padmaja,Principal, VJIT, Conference Chair-Dr.B.Vijayakumar, Prof & HOD-CSE and Conference Convener-Dr.D.Aruna Kumari inaugurated ICCIDE- 2019 by lighting a lamp. 

Convener of this conference, Dr.D.Aruna kumari presented a brief on objectives, structure of the conference and Sessions. She expressed her confidence that various parallel sessions shall witness high class of deliberations and shall open the new directions of research to the participants.  

Conference Chair- Dr .B. VijayaKumar, Prof & HOD-CSE expressed his sincere thanks to the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, key note speaker and distinguished Chief Patron and Patron of this conference.  

Dr.A.Padmaja, Principal, opined that Computational Intelligence ,Cloud Computing and Big data has become one of the hottest IT enterprise topics of recent times. It is becoming main stream with large steps being made in a relatively short period of time. Cloud Computing has become a scalable services consumption and delivery platform in the field of Services Computing.   

Patron-Dr.P.Venu Gopal Reddy, Director, VJIT, said that communication technologies have changed the way we interact, communicate and transact. These developments and reach of these technologies are revolutionizing the functioning of almost every organization irrespective of their domain in which they are operating into and also he expressed his views on high computational systems.  

The speakers have given eminent speeches during invited talks Dr.Deepak garg has given presentation on Advancements in AI. Dr Umashankar given brief Idea about the Applications of AI Dr.Krishna Mohan professor from IIT have explained about recent research works which are going the area of Computational Intelligence Dr. Raghu reddy , from IIIT Hyderabad has given importance of Software testing by AI systems.   All the Paper presentation sessions were preceded by Invited talks. In this conference, overwhelming response was received in the form of research papers. More than 200 research papers were received from different states of the country. After careful scrutiny and review by the experts of review committee, 51papers got selected and published in Scopus Indexed Journal and 42 papers got selected in UGC approved journal. Conference proceeding was released by the eminent guests during the inaugural session. The parallel sessions on relevant themes were organized in which contributors from different parts of the country, including Canada, Singapore mGujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Punjab, UP, Bihar, West Bengal etc, participated and presented their research papers. These sessions were chaired by Dr.V.Vijay Kumar, Dr.T.Anuradha, Dr.Md.Ali Hussain respectively. The conference was concluded with the valedictory session in the afternoon.
