Placement Orientation Day

The Training and Placement cell in Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology was established with a prime objective of creating career opportunities for promising and eligible students in reputed corporate towards meeting aspirations of all the stakeholders. To accomplish this career objective placement cell has identified corporate in various sectors and initiated the process of building a mutually rewarding relationship with them. As part the mission to develop the competencies of students in the final year, the Training & Placement Office conducted a Placement Orientation Programme for all the final year engineering students to sensitize them about the current job market reality.

The Placement Orientation Programme was organized on 6th July, 2015. It featured speakers from reputed training & development and overseas education agencies. Eminent speakers from Talent Sprint, Reference Globe and Jamboree spoke on the need for students to update their skills and competencies on a consistent basis. Mr Nagender, CEO, Reference Globe gave a presentation on his organization which is one of India’s leading learning and assessment tools. Reference Globe provides an internship and recruitment platform apart from helping students access information on universities. Mr Leo Tyron Whyte of Talent Sprint spoke on bridging the institution industry divide and Mr Ranjith of Jamboree made a presentation of career prospects in the United States and other education destinations.
