Secretary and Correspondent

Dr. Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, is a visionary in building the educational ecosystem of Telangana, and erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, for more than two decades. He did his M.Sc. and Ph.D from Osmania University and started his academic career as faculty.

Awarded “Dr. Tamahanker Memorial Prize”  in the year 1996 by the “Magnetic Society of India” for the Best Research Paper.His dynamic leadership and vision made him successful in nurturing the student commmunity.His passion and zeal for education and research made him instrumental in fostering the institution.He extended his commmitment to public service in 2015 by being elected twice as an MLC,Telangana under Graduate Quota.Presently,he is serving a braoder community as MLA.

Joint Secretary

Mrs. S. Neelima did her B. Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from JNTU, Hyderabad and M. Tech, Power Systems from Osmania University, Hyderabad.

She served as an Engineer in AP Transco department for over two decades. Mrs. Neelima is presently Joint Secretary and takes care of the management of the institution.

Prof.M. Govind Ram Reddy obtained his Doctorate in Chemistry from Osmania University and was associated with the University for more than three decades in various positions like Faculty, Head, Department of Chemistry, and also as Vice Principal and Principal of University College of Science.

More than 60 Papers were published in national and international journals and he guided 16 students to achieve their doctorate degrees. He is member of the VJES

Principal

Dr. A. Srujana is a renowned academician and researcher with an illustrious career spanning 26 years in teaching, research, and academic leadership. Her educational background includes a degree from Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal, an M.Tech., in Power Electronics from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), and a Ph.D. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from JNTUH, with a specialization in High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems.

Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Srujana has held pivotal leadership roles, including Principal, Vice-Principal, Head of Department, and Professor at prominent engineering colleges. Her tenure has been marked by significant contributions to institutional development, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. As Principal of Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology (VJIT), she continues to drive academic excellence, research innovation, and industry collaboration, ensuring a cutting-edge learning environment for both students and faculty.

Under her visionary leadership, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at VJIT achieved the prestigious National Board of Accreditation (NBA) Tier-I accreditation and recognition as a Research Center by JNTUH. These milestones underscore her commitment to elevating academic standards and promoting research excellence.
She serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Studies (BOS) for EEE at VJIT and is a member of BOS for several other engineering colleges. This role enables her to ensure that curricula are updated to align with the evolving needs of the industry, bridging the gap between academia and industry.

As an accomplished researcher, she has supervised two Ph.D. scholars and 26 M.Tech students, with several ongoing projects under her guidance. Her research portfolio includes 48 publications in Scopus-indexed journals and conferences, reflecting her expertise in her field. Additionally, she holds three patents in Electric Vehicles and Power Electronics, demonstrating her innovative contributions to technological advancements. She has been instrumental in establishing and modernizing laboratories, enhancing the learning environment for students and fostering hands-on research experiences.

Her commitment to excellence continues to inspire future generations of engineers and researchers, shaping the future of engineering education and research.

Dr. A. Padmaja obtained her B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees from A.U. College of
Engineering, Andhra University, Chemical Engineering from Osmania University and completed a PG Diploma in Patent Law from NALSAR University. She served as Principal at VJIT from 2012 to 2023 and presently she is holding the position of Dean of Accreditation & Rankings. She possesses 18 years of invaluable industry experience, culminating in a rich & diverse 30-year career spanning both academia and industry. She remains steadfast in her commitment to delivering high-quality education and fostering the comprehensive growth of students.

Sr. Administrative Officer

Mr. R. Venkatachalam, with M.Sc. and M.Phil. credentials in Physics, commands a wealth of over twenty years in academia. He has held various high-ranking roles in teaching and administrative capacities across esteemed professional institutions. His student-centric ethos and dynamic persona notably elevate the administrative structure, fostering conducive and enriching educational goals. Serving as a liaison between students, faculty, and management, he facilitates superior outcomes.

Mrs. G. Srilatha was awarded two Gold Medals for her academic achievements
by Osmania University. With a remarkable tenure of 34 years in teaching, including 12 years as a Principal, she exhibits adeptness in administration and excels in both academic and administrative domains, earning recognition for her unwavering dedication. She exemplifies resilience through active involvement in academic endeavors, guaranteeing favorable educational outcomes.
