The Annual get together of VJIT ALUMNI held on 22nd Feb’2014 was a grand success with more than 150 Alumni members attending it. There was great bonhomie with the batch mates hugging & greeting each other and recollecting those memories of college days.
Dr. P. Venugopal Reddy – Director, VJIT & President of VJIT Alumni Association presided over the function congratulated the Alumni on their achievements and requested them to contribute intellectually to the development of the institution.
Dr. A. Padmaja, Principal while unveiling the new LOGO of VJIT Alumni meet, has highlighted a few areas where the members of the Alumni can help the students in understanding the latest trends in the technology and the market conditions.
Prof. Zafarullah, HOD of EEE dept. & Prof. V.S. Sarma, HOD of MBA dept also addressed the gathering.
Mr. M.S. Goutham, Asst. Prof, Dept. of Mech. Engg. and convener of the Alumni Association briefly explained the activities of the association.
Mr. Sateesh Reddy – Member of the Alumni presented the Vote of thanks.
Prof. Satya Kiran, Training & Placement Officer explained to the Alumni the activities of the placement division and sought the help of the Alumni in its efforts to get good placements for the graduates rolling out of the institution year after year.
The program ended with a high energy “Flash Mob” performance by students of VJIT.
