Bathukamma is a colourful floral festival of Telangana, a symbol of its culture and identity. To mark this occasion, VJIT celebrated Bathukamma with grandeur and enthusiasm on their campus on 14 October. The women staff and the girl students emblazoned the premises with beautiful, exotic flowers. The celebration manifested the eminence of nature, united spirit of the VJITans, the audacious fervor of the women staff and students.
Principal Dr. Padmaja, and Academic Coordinator Ms. Srilatha were constitutive in encouraging the women staff and the girl students to participate in this blithesome ceremony.
The eight departments of VJIT have actively participated in the Bathukamma decoration competition followed by the dance by the gorgeously dressed women and girls for the resonating Bathukamma songs. The dances accentuated the festive mood symbolising the zeal and undaunted spirit of VJIT.
