The IEEE Student Forum (ISF) of VJIT introduced with 35 students and 5 faculty on 24th October 2014. It was initiated by the students and since then has been actively occupied in enhancing their technical skills. It pursues to augment the learning experiences of students by focusing on enlightening students to work on various spheres relevant to engineering domains. The students are motivated to work on their interest areas, have joy in meeting new people to have novel experiences and learn about research and innovation in technology. The ISF is enthused to help our community and get inspired to use technology for the benefit of humanity.

The IEEE VJIT has grown beyond the physical realms of the campus and now has an outreach across India with inclusion of campus affiliates. The Student Forum intends to provide opportunities for students to network with peers in other institutes, academicians, professionals, engineers, and scientists through on campus ISF activities. It designs activities to encourage students to be a part of the global IEEE community. The ISF believes in assisting humanity and serve them through engineering.

The ISF prominences in organizing social and technical activities for students as they take full advantage of the benefits of IEEE memberships, including participation in various regular Technical Competitions, three Workshops organized during 2013-14, Conferences, Hands on training on Latest Technology such as Embedded System, VLSI, Advance Image, and Video Processing etc.
