To promote harmonious communication and the global official language among people of all countries across the globe, the United Nations proposed to celebrate English Language Day on 23 April every year, “Traditionally observed as both the birthday and date of death of famous poet and writer William Shakespeare”.
To observe this day with great reverence, the Department of English organized a National E-Quiz titled ‘QUIZ YOURSELF’ for the faculty of English of all colleges. There was a commendable response from all the faculty of English.
