First ever Graduation Day in the history of VJIT was celebrated amidst great gusto, enthusiasm, gaiety, jubilation on 16th July, 2012. It was an eventful day and perhaps the most memorable one especially to the outgoing batch of VJIT i.e. 2008-2012 batch.

Graduation Day started in the morning with a cultural programme where the outgoing batched danced and sang and enjoyed themselves and relived their college day memories. It was followed by lunch in the afternoon.

The Graduation Ceremony started at 4 P.M. Prof. N. V. Ramana Rao, Registrar, JNTU was the Chief Guest of the Ceremony. Sri. V. Purushottam Reddy, Secretary, VJIT, Dr. P. Rajeshwar Reddy, Correspondent, VJIT and Dr. P. Venugopal Reddy, Principal, VJIT were very happy to see their students don their graduation robes and walk to the stage with great happiness and pride to receive their certificates.

More than 250 students turned up along with their parents on the day. The hall echoed with thundering applause for the graduands as they walked upto the stage. Prof. N.V. Ramana Rao, Registrar, JNTU personally distributed certificates to all the graduands with great patience.

The first on the list was the Academic Toppers of all 5 Branches and college toppers. It was followed by the graduation certificates to all. The college also had surprise Special awards in extracurricular activities. This special package made all very happy.

The Graduation Day oath was administered by the Registrar to all the graduands. All the dignitaries congratulated the graduates and reiterated their need to play a prominent role for the betterment of the society, nation and world at large.

It marked the Grand finale of their four year journey.
