Department of Management Studies (MBA Program) has organized an Industrial Visit to Masqati Dairy farm, Turkyamjal, Hyderabad for MBA I-yr & II-yr Students on 10th April 2023. Total Number of Students attended for Visit is 90 Students with Four Faculties accompanying.
As part of the visit we were started from the college at 09:15am and reached to Masqati Dairy farm, Turkyamjal, Hyderabad at 10:15am, there was a security check and instructed the students with some precautions.
Lateron Mr. Ajay Kumar, Incharge guided the students by separating into batches. The company had different operation units like milk, Ghee, Icecream, Badam Milk etc. The visit was scheduled from the operation of Ghee product at 10:30am first batch was sent to visit the operation activities and second batch as sent to the operation of Milk Product.
First batch accompanied with the operations manager Mr. Srinivas and explained each process of Operations by step – by –step. Students understood the production process by following way
· Production Type
· Sequence of the machines
· Machine Hours
· Capacity of Machines
· Input materials
· Planning of the production
· Plant Layout
· Manpower management
· Standard Operating Procedures (SoP).
After the visit of operational unit at 11:15am students were taken to the other operational (Badam Milk) unit which was accompanied by Mrs. Ajay Kumar, In charge and explained the operational procedure of the Badam Milk Product. In this students understood the differences between product operational units and clarified some doubts with in-charge.

- Material requirements planning?

- Logistics & Supply Chain management?
- Financial Planning?
- etc
Later on the students sent to the quality control room and shown how the quality check is done. At 02:15pm students visited the Warehouse of the organization and checked how the material is maintained and understood the flow of the materials from the warehouse to the production Process. At 02:30pm ended the visit.
At 02:30pm all the students have finished the plant visit and assembled in the dining room for lunch. After lunch we the faculty members felicitated the Mr. Ajay Kumar, Incharge, who provided insights and opportunity to visit the industry for the students.
At 02:45pm there was a security check in exit and boarded in the buses to departure to college.
