An International webinar on “Recent Trends in Brain Machine Interfacing” organized by IETE Student forum, VJIT, Hyderabad was held at ECE Department, E-Block seminar Hall on 27th October, 2021. The total 225 participants participated in this webinar. The participants were from diverse fields like Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, etc.
The programme was inaugurated by welcoming the DIRECTOR, PRINCIPAL and Resource person Dr. Suneth Pathirana by Dr K. Vasanth, HOD, Dept. of ECE, VJIT.
The webinar covered how the brain and machine interface. A brain–machine interface (BMI) is a device that translates neuronal information into commands capable of controlling external software or hardware such as a computer or robotic arm. BMIs are often used as assisted living devices for individuals with motor or sensory impairments. The session also covered following thrust areas of brain machine interfacing.
