The International Women’s Day 2021 Celebrations have been observed at VJIT to celebrate the purpose of woman being an achiever in every field she treads. Women have proven their mettle in every sphere across the world. The Coordinators Dr D. Aruna kumari, Ms. M. Vijayashanthi and Ms. M. Sujatha have organized the program with a great zeal. A Panel Discussion was organized on “Women Empowerment and Prevention of Sexual Harassment” moderated by Ms. Sree Latha Shankar with participant panel members, students and faculty of VJIT.
This year the Women’s Day has been celebrated under the theme “Challenge to Change”. The celebrations at VJIT also provided a platform that forged a positive change for all the VJITian women from the daily routine. The day has seen all the ladies and girls adorned in colourful & beautiful drapes happily enjoying the festive mood set in the college. Both the Ladies and Girls have relished the merriments by indulging in various fun games with prizes and lovey return gifts. The festive mood continued with enthusiastic cultural programs by both the faculty and students.
