Civil Engineering Department of Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology (VJIT) organized an Internship on “Sustainable materials & Computations in Civil Engineering.” From 1st May to 30th May 2024 in Association with Ultratech Cement Ltd. Dr. Pallavi Badry, Head of Civil Engineering Department, gave an introduction about the Internship and the proceedings of the day-wise Schedule. Internship brought together experts, industry professionals, and stakeholders to discuss the Industrial Knowledge and source of career growth in real time problems and enhance students in the field of Civil engineering. This program will bring a positive transformation among the Students and participants from industries towards research work, and enable the participants to develop competence in understanding recent developments taken in various domains, This internship  also provides a blend of technical advancements through recent research findings and make the student to understand various fields Like industry, Theory of Concrete mix proportion as per IS 10262-2019, construction of Nuclear Tower, RMC plant visit site visits, Earthquake Resistant Design structures, Stability Analysis Of a Retaining Walls, Advanced Testing Procedures and also develop the student in project execution, execution, & report writing. The internship was interactive and students got a good platform for interaction, sharing of resources, intellectual discussion, continued learning, and knowledge improvement, for several value-added skills in the field of Civil Engineering construction.
