Department of Information Technology Organized “A National Level one day Hands-on ISTE workshop on Adobe Photoshop & Premiere on 4th February 2014. Mr.Vemuluri Rakesh, Technical Head, Mr.Dharmana KrishnaMohan and Mr.Veluri Ramakrishna from SHAFT Academy of Media Arts, Hyderabad are Resource persons for the workshop. They delivered a live Production Workshop on Graphic software. Around 300 Participants (both Students and Faculty) were participated in this Workshop from different Engineering Colleges in and around Hyderabad.
Photoshop is a program that is so rich, complex, and powerful, people literally spend most of their time use it and are still always learning new tricks and techniques .It is part of the Adobe Creative Suite, a suite of graphic design, video editing and web development programs . Adobe Premiere is a timeline-based video editing software application and is used in feature films, Broadcasting, Short film making etc. It is a video editing software package suitable for both amateur enthusiasts and professionals and is a powerful editing tool, capable of producing broadcast-quality and high-definition video. Photoshop and Premiere have nice clean interface which is relatively easy to use for people of all skill levels and users can create very appealing products with a short introduction to the concepts which is one of the primary goals of this workshop.
They explained in this workshop with Photoshop software, how can we create original artwork, design graphics for a webpage or website, correct flaws and imperfections in a photograph and design smashing layouts for a newspaper, brochure, flyer etc., and with Premiere application, how can we import video, audio and graphics in a wide variety of formats, edit, manipulate and arrange these elements in a visual timeline, add effects, filters, titles, etc. and export edited video in a variety of formats, including video tape recordings, DV, DVD, and common Internet video formats etc.
The participants involved in practical workshop with personal interest, rapt attention and appreciated every bit of insight they gained during the session, which was evident in the rousing applause the speaker received at the end of their session.
