Civil Engineering Department is very happy to share the event happened few days back. Civil Engineering Association of students, “VISHWABHIYANTA” was inaugurated on 15^th Oct. 2014. Chief Guest of the event was Dr. B. Sudheer, Head of Civil Engineering Department, Vasavi Engineering College; congratulated students about the event and guided the students about the history of Civil Engineering and various aspects and research in Civil Engineering. Event was blessed with the presence and wonderful guidance of Respected Director Sir; Dr. P. Venugopal Reddy and Principal madam; Dr. A. Padmaja. Director sir in his speech; inspired students and faculty to take up the “Vishwabhiyanta” to higher level and get benefited from it. Dr. A. Padmaja madam congratulated students and encouraged them to come up with new innovative ideas to make “Vishwabhiyanta” a successful. Dr. Archanaa Dongre; Head of Civil Engineering Department introduced “Vishwabhiyanta” as a platform where students will be benefited with various activities like; Guest lectures by eminent personalities in the field, Workshops related to Civil Engineering, Sports and cultural activities, Industrial visits and research innovations. Heads of various departments graced the occasion by their presence and beautiful guidance.
