A Three-day Orientation Programme for Faculty
An Orientation Programme for faculty was organized from 25th to 27th June 2012. The faculty had come back refreshed from the vacation and the management felt that the best way to start the academic year would be with this orientation programme.
Mr. Krishnam Raju, Director, Aditya Birla Group, Hyderabad spoke on “Improving Professional effectiveness through interpersonal skills” on 25-06-2012 (afternoon).
Prof.V.Viswanadham, Retd. Prof. of Commerce, Osmania University, Hyderabad & presently Guest faculty, Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence, Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad spoke on the topic “ On Becoming a Better Teacher” on 26-06-2012 (forenoon).
Dr.Ratnakar, Global Hospitals, Hyderabad spoke on the topic “The Ideal Teacher” on 26-06-2012 (afternoon).
Dr.Swathi, Professor of Psychology, Nizam College, Hyderabad spoke on “Emotional Intelligence for teachers” on 27-06-2012 forenoon.
Mr.Satish, Jivas International spoke on Neuro Linguistic Programming on 27-06-2012 (afternoon).
The faculty participated enthusiastically in this programme. They gained valuable inputs on how to teach effectively and be an inspirational teacher. It was very useful and proved to be a rejuvenating experience.
