The EEE Department organized a Two Day National conference on Evolutionary Computing Applications to Electrical Engineering (NCECAEE-2019) at VJIT on 2^nd and 3^rd of may, 2019. The highly knowledgeable and reputed resource speakers were Prof. S.M. Zafarullah, Electrical CE (SWCC), DE, APGENCO (Rtd.), Prof. N.L.V. Prasad Rao, DE (SCADA), APTRANSCO (Rtd.), Dr. G. Yesuratnam, Professor, Dept. of EEE, OUCEH, Dr. T. Gowri Manohar (SV University, Tirupati) and Dr. T. Murali Krishna, CBIT.

This conference provided an interactive platform for the researchers, innovators, professionals in the area of evolutionary computing of artificial intelligence technologies like Neural Network, Fuzzy Logic, Genetic Algorithm, heuristic and meta-heuristic, to electrical engineering applications. This arena provided possibilities for students and young engineers to meet the leading specialists in enriched research field in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.  Research culture is created among the students. Application of computational intelligence awareness is created among the participated researchers and students.
