A Talk & Poster presentation  was conducted on the day of National Energy Conservation organized by the Civil Engineering Department in collaboration with EEE and ECE departments at Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology on 14th Dec,2021 in Association with ICI Knowledge Center. The speaker of the talk was Ms Sri Rekha, Counselor, IGBC.The speaker was introduced by Dr.Pallavi Badry,  Head of the Department .The session addressed on Green Buildings concepts and Techniques in Building sector issues like water efficiency, energy efficiency, reduction in fossil fuel use in commuting, handling of consumer waste and conserving natural resources and many more concepts. After the talk there was a poster presentation by the UG 2nd, 3rd, 4th year students at college level. A Final year student Mr.P. Hari Babu and S. Pavan Reddy won 3rd prize for the poster Renewable Energy  . Dr. Pallavi HOD, CE , Dr. Srihari Prof. CE, Dr. Srujana Prof  EEE, Dr. Vasanth Prof  ECE and Respected Director Dr. E. Saibaba Reddy, Principal Dr. A.Padmaja felicitated the speaker and distributed the prizes for the winners Finally, the event ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. Vasanth Prof  ECE Department.
